About ITWco.

Welcome to Into The Wild Trading Co.

Let’s 𝔾𝕖𝕥 𝔹𝕒𝕔𝕜 𝕋𝕠 𝕆𝕦𝕣 ℝ𝕠𝕠𝕥𝕤.

ITWco. wearable art is for those who still have the wild soul. The hopeful kind. The spirit of freedom and the appreciation for the land we sow on. ITWco. Is inspired by the winding creeks of the salt marsh and breath taking beach sunsets. The sound of the morning waking up in the islands and the serenity of a flooded hardwood bottom. A hike through the beautiful mountains and a Sunday drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The feeling of wholeness and peace we get when we are surrounded by God’s amazing creation.

✨  At ITWco we help the tales to live on ~ and that means something. Whether it’s a bird that has migrated thousands of miles or a buck that has seen 7 years of the rugged, wild world. Everything is sustainably sourced- nothing is harvested solely for personal gain as jewelry.

Most of my materials comes from my amazing Facebook VIP Group of outdoorswomen who hunt across the nation! It’s truly amazing.

✨ Be proud when you purchase from ITWco. You are also supporting our ecosystems and contributing to conservation. Part of every purchase goes back to conservation. So you can be proud when you wear art handcrafted largely in part by Mother Nature!

✨  I will never be a cookie-cutter company.
While that makes my job as designer much more difficult - I wouldn’t have it any other way. We don’t trend-follow. We trend-set.

✨  We go back to our roots of Trading.
As a trading company - I welcome trades of mediums (feathers, arrowheads, antlers, bullets, shark teeth, whatever neat things you have) in exchange for store credit or a piece of jewelry! I depend on y’all!

* All of ITWco. art is ethically + sustainably sourced. We do not harvest any wildlife for the purposes of production. We simply wish to recycle, reuse and
repurpose as much as humanly possible.

* If you’d like for us to sponsor your hometown conservation banquet or  — please don’t hesitate to reach out.

about kelsey

Heyy, my name is Kelsey and I love all things outdoors. I started into the wild trading company out of my passion for nature, avid love for our ecosystems + my huge connection to God’s kingdom. I think that God’s creativity and beauty is exemplified in the amazing wildlife + delicate ecosystems He has created. I wish to recycle + reuse as much as possible. All my designs are inspired by the outdoors. My jewelry is handcrafted, by me, using natural, sustainably & ethically sourced materials. Antler sheds, feathers, seashells, artifacts and other globally-sourced, unique + antique findings. Most of my materials comes from my amazing Facebook VIP Group of outdoorswomen who hunt across the nation! It’s truly amazing.
Although I do tend to gravitate toward earth-tones & a more minimalistic vibe- I like to add a little sparkle in once in a while! Antlers are such amazing pieces to work with.... and feathers! What amazing mediums.. Don’t get me started there.

Since I can remember, I have lived on the water- on the southern US coast. It’s definitely safe to say that I’m a total water baby. It is my favorite familiarity— as it is my dog and horses as well! I lived in Key West before moving to Beaufort, SC. I grew up in a house, or 2, on the water- climbing trees, catching fish and walking barefoot down our dirt roads. I would climb out the window, sit on the roof looking over the water and watch some of the most beautiful southern sunsets I’ve ever seen. Sunsets over water... now thats blessed.
About 10 years ago I discovered hunting & the more “rustic” side of life. Mountains & pine forests. I started learning how to hunt and became interested in the world of farming. I enjoy hunting- thought I mostly just love being outdoors and watching the wildlife. I also enjoy eating clean meat. Turkey hunting is by far my favorite. Even just watching them dance (I know it’s called strutting, geez, let your hair down) - they’re so beautiful.
All of my inspiration comes from the beauty of the natural world.
Nothing better to spark inspiration and taking a ride on my horse through the tall pines of the Lowcountry or fishing the back water of the Sea Islands.

In 2022 I moved Into The Wild Co. to O'ahu, Hawai'i. The journey has brough so much for me. I can't wait to see what the future holds.
& some 6 odd years ago, I decided that I was going to take the leap into a full-time artist. It’s been a tough road but I’ve stuck with it. I absolutely love what I do.. Join us for the journey! I‘m so glad you’re here!
